Ways to Show Your Gratitude

Happy November! We’re wishing you and your family a wonderful Thanksgiving, and hope you get to enjoy your time away to rest, reset, and rejuvenate.

This month is all about gratitude. ✨ And while we should always be practicing this, not just during November, life can be fleeting and sometimes we forget to make space to show up and really be grateful for our life. But it’s because life is so fleeting, that we need to take the time to really soak in what we are experiencing and show appreciation. What are you grateful for? WHO are you grateful for?

We are grateful for all of you, of course! Without you, Barrier Consulting would not be where it is today. We feel so honored to be a part of your journey and getting to watch all of you grow has been so beautiful; and we consider ourselves so lucky. ❤️

We want to encourage you to show your team members gratitude this month, and let them know how much you appreciate them.

Words of affirmation – It’s so simple, yet so effective! Simply take some time out of your next meeting, and give your team members some kind and heartfelt words of affirmation. Let them know that they are an important piece in the puzzle.

Send a handwritten thank you note – You have no idea how much a handwritten note means to someone! It shows that you took some time to sit down and really put thought into what they mean to you. If it’s in the budget, you could even include a gift card or a houseplant from a local florist.

Give them a special discount – This is a fun idea for your clients that have been with you for a long time. Offer them a special discount just for them. Maybe it’s a percentage of their total of services for a month or maybe it’s a free product.

Feature a client on your blog or social – If your strategy and time allows, start featuring a client on your blog or social every month! You can talk about how long you’ve been doing business together, what their business does, a little background on the owners, etc. Who knows, they may even be willing to do a little trade, and feature you on their blog or platform!

The possibilities are endless; and showing gratitude can be as simple as you want it, or you can go big.

How will you be showing gratitude this week?

“Barrier Consulting has changed my business and my life. Evonne and her team keep my business goal-focused; moving projects faster toward success (and helping us look good doing it)! Everything they have helped with not only frees up my time and reduces stress but increases revenue too! My business would grow at snail speed without Barrier Consulting.”
