What lessons from 2023 can you turn into opportunities in 2024?
You’ve probably heard us say this before…but perspective has SO much power. Think about it.
Remember a time in your life when you just felt nothing was going right, and life was just shutting you down constantly? We’ve all been there, and while it doesn’t feel great – we have to ask ourselves why does this continue to happen to me? Why am I attracting these negative events in my life?
First it’s important to realize that: life isn’t happening to us, life is happening for us.
Second, while it may be a hard pill to swallow, the reason that we go through periods in our life where it seems nothing is going right, is because our perspective isn’t right. Instead of taking accountability for our lives, we fall victim. This can be difficult to rewire.
This is why it’s SO important to really try to look at your lessons as opportunities. Opportunities for growth, expansion, and recourse into the best version of yourself.
Everything happens for a reason, so why not be excited for that reason? If we stay positive, then that reason almost always ends up being positive.
In the past, we’ve encouraged you to make a list of your accomplishments, and celebrate your wins. Now, we want you to make a list of the lessons you’ve learned in the past year, and how you can look at them as opportunities for this year.
Celebrate your lessons! Because lessons are just seeds being sown for growth.
