How Can a VA Help My Business?

evonne-barrier-headshot

One of the most common questions I am asked when someone finds out what I do for a living is inevitably, “So what does that even mean? What do you DO?”

Even with COVID bringing about more awareness to the industry, the concept of a Virtual Assistant is still very nebulous. And while I can, and will, give you a list of examples of the types of tasks a Virtual Assistant can help with, the real answer is… just about everything! If your VA is comfortable performing that task, then I say, go ahead and ask for them to do it!

But, let’s go ahead and give you some concrete examples to work with.

Administrative Support

  • Email management
  • Calendar management
  • Appointment setting
  • Travel management
  • Data Management
  • Updating Reports
  • Contractor Management

Customer Interaction

  • Collections
  • Prospect follow up
  • Customer follow up
  • Information Collection

Project Management

  • Invoicing
  • Customer relationship management (CRM)
  • Systems and processes

Marketing Coordination

  • Formatting blogs and newsletters
  • Repurposing content for social media
  • Content writing, scheduling and editing
  • And so much more!

Of course, we have specialized VA’s that prefer to focus on specific niches and have different specialities and we have VA’s that do all of this and more! The real trick is figuring out where YOU need help the most in your business! This is NOT a one size fits all scenario. Which is where I come up!

We take matching our VA’s with our clients very seriously and always aim for the best placement, which means we need to take into consideration as many things as possible when matching you with your VA.
